Do you take insurance?

Lily currently only accepts private pay. She can give you a superbill which you might be able to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. FSA/HSA also accepted.

My child is not talking yet? Should I wait and see?

Screenings and evaluations can help you determine whether therapy is warranted.  It is always better to be proactive when it comes to children and their development.  The beauty of early intervention is to help children maintain or increase their growth so that they are not behind.  Don’t wait! Call or email now with your questions and concerns.

Do I have to have an evaluation?

If your child has had a medical or school evaluation within the last 6 months, there is a possibility that a plan of care can be created from that evaluation. However, Lily reserves the right to accept that evaluation or administer another one.

Where do therapy sessions take place? Do you have an office?

Lily currently offers the convenience of coming to you wherever you are! She has found that providing services in a client’s natural environment of their home, library, park, daycare (depending upon those organizations’ policies), or other community locations is ideal and functional. Note: If you are outside Wood County, Ohio or more than 30 minutes away, a travel fee might be discussed. Lily does not currently have an office.

What should my child be saying and doing?

Children should say their first words around 12 months (1 year) of age and should be using 16 different gestures (waving hi/bye, pointing, reaching up, etc) by 16 months of age. https://www.interveningearly.org/downloads/16×16-handout.pdf   By 24 months (2 years) they should be using at least 2-word phrases and they should be following simple directions.
